“To quote and co-opt Milton Glaser, my hero: "All I ever wanted to do was to
make images and create form." For me and for Glaser, great form is not
always hearts and flowers. The connection between Los Angles and violence is
too obvious to be re-stated, but the letterpress process brings it
dimension, life and perhaps even beauty.”

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Cristina Padron received a B.F.A. with honors in graphic design from the University of Georgia with continuing education at Art Center Pasadena. She relocated to Los Angeles and joined Northstar Travel Media in 2000 as Art Director, and today designs for various clients that include Travel Weekly, the China National Tourist Office, Red Mango U.S.A. and many other companies, events, individuals and artists.

Cristina has been recognized by HSMAI Adrian Awards (2007), Graphic Design U.S.A.’s American Graphic Design Awards (2005 & 2006) and the Western Publications Association Maggie Awards (2003 & 2004).
